Technologist Computers founder named 2022 Voqal Fellow

During the pandemic, many black and brown families were left behind due to the digital divide. Some families could not afford the internet because of the monopoly internet providers had in the Twin Cities area. With this families were getting left behind with a pandemic and lack of services this was what brought today Project Nandi and its mission to close the digital divide.

Technologist Computers is creating a community-owned Internet Service Provider (ISP) with the Black Broadband Summit. We have received a fellowship from Voqal and are excited for this new opportunity to connect and further our vision of making a community-run and owned internet provider.  With the help of the Voqal fellowship, we believe we are getting a step closer to our end goal of closing the digital divide for all.
