Slow Internet? Find out the reason why.
This blog will go deeper into the reasons why slow Internet happens and ways to avoid it.It's very common to have slower Internet all over the world but how does it happen? The most common reason is because of multiple devices being used in a household or everyone has their Internet on simultaneously in your area.
Ways your internet can become slow
Sometimes the reason why your Internet can be slow is because of a physical problem with the wire that is connected.onto your Internet.Or it could be a software issue with systems sending and receiving information. A very common issue is that when a router hasn't had their software updated it can cause security issues among other things. Examples of such things could be internet connection issues, routers being unusable, and other issues can rise. Depending on your Internet provider, your Internet can be completely different from others. The Internet is always going to have different orders of speeds.
Dial- the slowest internet speed
DSL- not the best in speeds but better than Dial
Cable- better than Dial and DSL and used often
Fiber- the fastest internet speed
Steps to avoid slow internet
The first thing an individual would need to do is to buy the fastest speed of internet available from their company. Make sure that all equipment is able to handle those high speeds. Not having a Gigabit Internet networking card to help speed up the internet would be like putting money down the drain. One would also need to get a modern router so that it has the capacity to accept such speeds. VPN also slows down the Internet a little, however, it is very useful for protecting one’s IP address and securing information. Getting a wired Internet connection is the best option in terms of speeds because of the fact that the best speeds will always be wired in. Try to avoid anything that's graphics intensive because it takes up a lot of bandwidth and takes a longer time to download than any straight text.
